This Saturday (Oct 16, 2010), put on your fanciest duds and come to The Temple Bar in downtown Bellingham for “Dames & Gents: Celebrating the 1920’s and the Pickford Film Center.”

The Temple Bar will be hosting a 1920s-themed event at 8 p.m. as a benefit for the Pickford Film Center.

The event will feature entertainment by Bellingham’s own Bar Tabac and Dirty Bird Cabaret. People are encouraged to wear clothing inspired by 1920s nightlife.  It’s not required, but it’s always more fun to be in costume.  Why not start Halloween early?

The event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.  Previously, they were advertising this event as costing 25 bucks, so be generous!  Money raised will help finish the Pickford Film Center’s new space at 1318 Bay St.

The Temple Bar is located at 306 W. Champion St., Bellingham WA 98227.
For more information, visit the Dames and Gents Facebook event page or call 360-676-8660.
