Bite of Bellingham is ready to tantalize your taste buds tomorrow, August 21st, 2010. From noon to 4, on the 1300 block of Cornwall, there will be a delicious assortment of ‘bites’ from restaurants all around Bellingham and Whatcom County. It’s free to get into the Bite of Bellingham, then you pay for the ‘bites’. If you’ve been meaning to check out the local restaurant scene, but haven’t been able to commit to a whole meal at each spot, here’s your chance to taste their cuisine.
You’ll also be able to cast your votes for your favorite local eateries. There will be seven categories to vote in: Best Bite, Dreamiest Drink, Sweetest Sweet, Best Brewery, Best of the Brews, Winning Winery and Winning Wine. This is a great chance to eat locally and explore new restaurants.
There will also be a beer and wine garden, and music. Musicians will be will be Polecat, Pete Farmer, Robert Blake and Vaughn Kreestoe. Come down and enjoy yourself!

Il Caffe Rifugio– sweet scone, savory scone, an entrée of their Rifugio’s Lasagna and their Special House Coffee.
Peace Love Pizza– KGB Pizza (kale, garlic & broccoli) and Greek Pizza.
Old World Deli– Salami Cone (sliced salami in a cone), Muffalletta (small sandwich), and Italian Sub.
New York Pizza & Bar– Seafood Chowder, Spicy Chipotle Halibut Fish Tacos and Queen Supreme Pizza.
The Copper Hog– Corndog Lollipop, Pork Confit and Hazelnut Ice Cream with Coffee Candied Bacon.

The Table (by Bellingham Pasta Co.)– Squid Ink & Saffron Pasta w/ Seafood and Beet Salad

Boundary Bay Brewery– Blonde, Scotch and IPA in the Beer and Wine Garden.
